Dear Dan,
"Your thumbprint is forever upon the lives you touch. I know this first hand because I met one of our clients in Austin one evening. You loved with the love of the Savior; she saw herself through His eyes because of your careful and focused counsel. You made a difference in her life."

Dear Ms. Ann,
I cannot tell you how much my life has changed since meeting with you earlier this month. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing the Lord to work through you and heal me. Every page of your book spoke to my heart and made me feel so safe in His care. For over 20 years, now, I've been trying to protect myself and I didn't fully understand why. Now I know that He's been protecting me all along, and I can give that up to Him! I feel so free now, and so much closer to the Lord. Thank you so much for leading me through this time and "calling back" to me!

Dear Dan and Ann,
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the evenness of our conversation about Christ at our last session. Seamless exchanges are a novelty for me-I'm accustomed to explosions and rancor, no matter the topic. What a relief! Thanks so much.

Dear Dan and Ann,
It is such a relief to know that after all these years, now is the time to fulfill what I once thought was just a life-long dream. I never really once thought about the writing (of our story) as being a part of God's plan. Now, I realize that it is going to be more of an act of obedience on my part. This is one of the things that those sessions helped me to realize-that it will be pleasing to Him and not just to me. Never before have I had such a clear cut understanding about the direction I needed to go with this book, but I do now!! Praise God.
M.R. Separated from her brothers as a child; reunited after 34 years
Never having been involved in this spiritual process before, I did not know what to expect, until I sat in on one of Dan's training sessions. After hearing the basics, I was eager to dive into the deep waters of memory and prayer , and to "know", as the Bible says, "the goodness of God." I was not disappointed.
Time after time, with Dan walking alongside me, God led me to the wounded places of my life. Jesus came to reveal the lies of the enemy. He came to lance my wounds so that the deep infection trapped for years might be removed and cleansing might take its place. Tears flowed, anger was released, emotions broke free, long-needed healing and restoration arrived.

Prayer:
Lord, I choose not to hide in despair anymore. Because you are my shield, defender and ever-present help in time of trouble I can rise up and confront the truth of situations. You protect me. You are there. Thank you, Lord that I am not really a _____. I want to be clothed in life and light. Straighten out the confusion. Straighten out the path, Lord. He is cutting away the "spider web" of entanglement from my body. All the strings will be gone. I will be clean and free! I was not to blame.

You prayed, asked questions and facilitated prayer with me. God healed me of the death grip of pornography. The lies that were in my heart from childhood are gone. I have not been back to an internet pornography site since my time with you. There is no desire. I am free!

Just a quick "thank you." Lisa came back a changed girl, free of some of her stumbling blocks and ready to continue her search for liberty.

I hope you are sitting down as you read this-the breathing machine came with us on our vacation. It is having no impact on me at all. I look at it and touch it with no ill effects. It is truly a miracle for me. Thank you so much for your time and efforts in prayer.

Redeeming Fruit
In 2011, the chaplain at Kerr County Adult Detention Center asked Dan Geroy if he would visit an inmate in jail awaiting trial for murder. Dan had to pray about it for three days when he clearly heard the voice of the Lord (Acts 8:26). Eight years later, on the Wallace Unit in Colorado City, Texas, those seeds Dan faithfully planted are bearing fruit.
Little did he know the impact that he would have ministering to a 39-year-old who was a miserable wretched man. My name is Brian Keith Crum and I am serving a thirty-year sentence for murder. Today I am freer than I have ever been.
In January 2015, I was chosen to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary at the Darrington Extension in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. God’s grace and mercy were following me all the days of my life (Psalm 23:6). After four and a half years of hard work, I walked across the stage to receive my Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies. Truly a miracle, and fruit of Dan’s faithful obedience. That was on Monday, May 13, 2019.
However, the work was just beginning. Two months later I was transferred to the Wallace Unit as a Field Minister. I currently serve as a pastor to an inmate population of nearly 1,100 men with various needs.
God has truly blessed me, and His favor is upon me. On Mondays I teach a class called Overcomers—A Christian 12-Step class—twice a day. On Tuesdays I will begin teaching Quest for Authentic Manhood, twice a day. On Wednesdays we teach Overcomers to medium custody inmates and hold a worship service where I get to preach periodically. Finally, I am allowed by Unit Administration to walk freely and unescorted to all the building living areas to minister, pray and fellowship.
All glory goes to God. Thank you, Dan.
This is just the beginning of “Redeeming Fruit,” springing forth from seed planted in Kerr County Jail eight years ago. Never underestimate what God will do with someone who, by all appearances, is dead spiritually and a wreck physically. Just ponder for a moment if Dan had told the Lord “NO”, so many years ago. I am so grateful Dan walked in faith and showed me the love of Jesus Christ. Now we can all see His “Redeeming Fruit” a hundred-fold.
